Production Assistant – Embroidery & Printing

Bognor Regis, United Kingdom

At JW, we’re looking for someone to grow into a dual-skilled role in our production team. You’ll help keep our embroidery and print operations running smoothly—switching between machines, prepping jobs, and making sure every finished product looks sharp, clean, and on-brand.

This is a creative, hands-on role. You’ll be working with colour, texture, layout, and materials every day—turning blank garments into finished pieces our customers will wear with pride. It’s a chance to develop genuine craft skills in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

You don’t need experience in both embroidery and print yet—but you do need curiosity, focus, and the drive to learn.

  • Prep garments: hooping, pressing, lining up artwork, loading jobs
  • Clean, thread, and maintain machines
  • Switch between departments based on workflow

Production Support

✅ Must-have

  • Attention to detail and pride in producing something well-made
  • A creative eye – whether for colour, layout, or finish
  • Comfortable doing physical, hands-on work (not a desk job!)
  • Punctual, reliable, and calm under pressure

💡 Nice-to-have

  • Experience with embroidery, garment printing, or production environments
  • Familiarity with artwork formats (EPS, DST, SVG etc.)
  • Interest in clothing production, or sport

🌟 What’s great about this job?

  • Express creativity in a hands-on, physical way
  • Learn real skills and gain cross-training in two in-demand trades
  • See your work come to life daily—every item passes through your hands
  • Join a supportive, ambitious team with no egos
  • Work with clean, modern equipment in a well-organised space
  • Help shape how we bring customer ideas into custom-made reality

⏰ Hours & Progression

This role will start part-time (roughly 20–25 hours per week, depending on availability and workload).

As you build confidence across both embroidery and printing, there’s a clear path to full-time hours and greater responsibility.

We're looking for someone who wants to grow into a bigger role over time—so if you're keen to learn, we’ll invest in your development.
